Natya Mandali Theatre Workshop, Chhattisgarh (April 10 – May 4, 2011)

Workshop Tribute to Habib Tanvir:

clip_image002Habib Tanvir was one of the most popular Hindi playwrights, theatre director, poet, actor and teacher. In 1959, he founded Naya Theatre, a professional theatre company of rural actors, in Bhopal. Agra Bazar, Mitti Ki Gaddi and Charandas Chor are among his popular plays.He collaborated with Shyam Benegal to adapt Charandas Chor to a feature film. His wife Moneeka Misra passed away in 2005. He is survived by his daughter Nageen.

ArtHulchal is giving chance to act /perform in forthcoming films of the Chhattisgarh to those who are participating the Natya mandali workshop.

This workshop will be conducted from 10th April’11 to 4th May’11 by ‘Dil Se Drama’ and Shri. Manish JoshiBismil’, who is a renowned theatre personality will be the master trainer.

On the day of the final performance i.e. 4th May’11, we will be honoring a few senior theatre artists of Chhattisgarh and our Chief Guest for the day will be Shri Rakesh Bedi from Mumbai.

ArtHulchul

‘ArtHulchal’ founded by Pallavi Shilpi is an aggregation of finest pieces of Indian Art in its all-encompassing form. Arthulchal , endeavor to create a collaborative platform where both Art lovers/ collectors and artist can share their experiences and collections with each other for the overall development and growth of Indian Art. With respect to the artists, Arthulchal serves as a platform where artists can display their works and simultaneously get to meet people with diverse background and culture. This serves as a medium to promote Indian Art all over the world.

We are doing our bit here at Raipur through following:

  • Conducting theatre workshop as tribute to Late. Habib Tanvir.
  • Recognizing the established & upcoming talent of Chhattisgarh in the field of ‘Theatre’
  • Providing platform to enhance the skills/talent of upcoming theatre artists

With our vision intact i.e. to promote performing arts (Theatre) , we at ART HULCHUL are organizing a theatre workshop as a tribute to Late. Habib Tanvir( 10th April’11 to 4th May’11, Raipur – Chhattisgarh, India)

‘Dil Se Drama’ as supporter:

Dil Se Drama holds a unique place in the Delhi theatre community chapters, producing shows which instantly connect with masses especially college students & corporate professionals. These production shows draw inspiration from day to day events around us and share with audiences in an imaginative manner. Our objective is to provide creative platform to college students & corporate professionals to explore their creative side of life

Dil se Drama also organizes workshops to introduce people to theatre. Along with an introduction to theatre, these workshops also seek to develop personality and expand the emotional horizons of the participants

‘Dil Se Drama’ is working very closely with ‘Art Hulchal’ team and doing the following:

– Conducted workshop for Art Hulchal

– Managing content development and PR

– Will assist to plan/host the grand finale on 4th May’11
